Hawke Chairgun Pro Ballistic Software Demonstration

The Chairgun Program is a powerful tool for airgunners, as well as powder burners. It is free from Hawke Optics, and is as much a part of my arsenal as the scope itself. The software is designed to compliment Hawke reticles. But a Hawke scope is not needed to use the program; many generic reticles are included in the menu. Hawke continuously updates and improves this software. At the time this video was made, the software version was 1.0.5a. You can download Chairgun from Hawke Optics’ website: www.hawkeoptics.com If Chairgun doesn’t work for you, try the “Simple Trajectory Program” available at this site: www.airguns.net

    i have to use a bushnell on my rws diana because of the recoil,
    i’ve broken 3 .22 scopes,
    mine has held up for about 15 years with no problems

    They used to send the program by email, maybe you should check that. If not, enter your data and then there should appear a download link on the same page.

    I know I ask a lot of questions.So here I go again. Under “reticles” in the upper bar, do you pick “Hawke 1/2 mil-dot (10x mag calibration)” or “(Hawke 1/2 mil-dot(20x mag calibration)”. I have the exact same scope and love it and I believe I read on their web site that it is a true 20x mil dot scope. Just curious. Thanx.

    @JimmyGunXD556 Spinger air rifles kill many scopes because they recoil forward, as well as backward. Most traditional scopes are not designed to handle this forward recoil. Scopes that are made specifically for airguns (Hawke, Leapers, and even Bushnell) can handle this forward recoil. But, these scopes can also be used on rimfire and centerfire rifles, too. Leupold scopes have very very good glass, and are made in America. But, they are not made to handle the forward recoil of a springer.

    @EdgunUSA Well..you inspired me to try it again, and was succsseful! Thanks. Wanted to compare 5.56 to other BC’s. I have a friend who shoots air rifle competions in KY. At first I was worried about the scope handling the recoil of 5.56. He said for me not to worry. To put my mind at ease he said “springer” air rifles will eat up Leupold scopes…so? Would like to get your input. Their are soooo many scope mfg’s. Prices are all over the charts, are people buying hipe?

    Never ever got Chairgun to give remotely accurate results.
    No substitute for going out and shooting the ranges.
